Las condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas actuales \u2014como altas temperaturas oce\u00e1nicas y vientos favorables\u2014 favorecen su fortalecimiento.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1280px\" data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1050\">Condiciones actuales y pron\u00f3stico<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1367\">El IMN explic\u00f3 que el Caribe se encuentra en una fase activa de la temporada de huracanes, com\u00fan durante el mes de octubre, cuando las <strong data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1229\">temperaturas del mar superan los 28 \u00b0C<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1233\" \/>Estos valores, sumados al bajo nivel de cizalladura del viento, permiten que la onda tropical mantenga su estructura y gane energ\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1369\" data-end=\"1555\">Las autoridades meteorol\u00f3gicas costarricenses continuar\u00e1n monitoreando su desplazamiento y actualizar\u00e1n la informaci\u00f3n conforme avance hacia el <strong data-start=\"1513\" data-end=\"1552\">Caribe occidental y Am\u00e9rica Central<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1557\" data-end=\"1560\" \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1601\">Recomendaciones para la poblaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1773\">El IMN inst\u00f3 a las comunidades costeras y zonas monta\u00f1osas a <strong data-start=\"1664\" data-end=\"1686\">mantenerse alertas<\/strong> ante posibles lluvias intensas, vientos fuertes y crecidas de r\u00edos.<br data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1757\" \/>Se recomienda:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"2044\">\n<li data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1835\">\n<p data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1835\">Seguir los comunicados oficiales de <strong data-start=\"1813\" data-end=\"1832\">la CNE y el IMN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1836\" data-end=\"1896\">\n<p data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1896\">Evitar actividades acu\u00e1ticas y la navegaci\u00f3n recreativa.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li \/>\n<h3 data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2086\">Impacto potencial en Costa Rica<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2088\" data-end=\"2430\">De evolucionar a tormenta tropical, el sistema podr\u00eda generar <strong data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2237\">precipitaciones significativas en la costa Caribe, la Zona Norte y el Valle Central<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"2238\" data-end=\"2241\" \/>La <strong data-start=\"2244\" data-end=\"2286\">Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Emergencias (CNE)<\/strong> ya coordina con los comit\u00e9s municipales las acciones preventivas, ante la posibilidad de inundaciones o deslizamientos en terrenos saturados.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2432\" data-end=\"2643\">El IMN reiter\u00f3 que, aunque el fen\u00f3meno a\u00fan se encuentra sobre el mar, su <strong data-start=\"2505\"
